Patrol Services
Security Patrols
Insecure premises are an open invitation to burglars, so every business
should have at least one TRITON security patrol to ensure that your site is
secure after staff have left for the day.
When carrying out building security checks, TRITON
security guards regularly
find:
- Doors that are open or unlocked
- Windows open
- Alarms not set
- Lights left switched on
- Machinery and equipment left switched on
- Heaters left switched on
- Vehicles left unlocked and even with the keys still in the ignition
Aside from the building security aspects, TRITON security patrols have found
broken or leaking pipes and also smoldering ashes (for example caused by welding
or other hot works) that are a serious fire risk. In these cases, the guard has
been able to deal with the situation there and then, which has avoided costly
damage to the buildings concerned.
Once your building is secure for the night, you have significantly reduced
the likelihood that opportunist burglars will target your property by making it
more difficult for them to get in. However, determined burglars may well still
be interested in targeting you, so subsequent security patrol checks are
important also.
After TRITON security patrols have completed the first check of your building
and can be sure that all is well, they can then further visits during the night
(or during the daytime over the weekend) to provide a further deterrent.
Security patrol checks are an excellent deterrent to burglars, vandals and
arsonists because patrolled premises mean that a security guard could turn up at
any time unannounced.
TRITON security patrols regularly find suspicious vehicles and persons around
client's premises and are experienced in dealing with offenders caught in the
act.
Banking Services
TRITON security officers will safely transport
your business banking to the bank of your choice, minimising risk to your staff
and increasing the security of your daily takings.
TRITON provides experienced security officers
trained in security banking operations.
Rapid Response
Because the NZ Police now no longer responds to burglar alarm activations,
private security companies are now used to provide first line response, with
subsequent attendance by police patrols if a break-in has been confirmed.
TRITON mobile security patrols treat alarm attendances as number one
priority. Even if part-way through a patrol check of a site, they will stop what
they are doing, deal with the alarm activation and return to complete the patrol
check afterwards.
When an activation signal is received at the alarm monitoring centre, it is
sent immediately by a secure text dispatching system to the nearest mobile
patrol guard, who will in turn drive to your site without delay. Upon arrival,
they will check for signs of any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area, and
will then check your site for any signs of forced or attempted entry. Every
attempt will be made to catch and detain any offenders found on site, with
police being called immediately for assistance.
If a break-in has occurred, the guard can co-ordinate with an authorized
keyholder, and tradesmen such as a glazier to secure the break-in.
